Review on Harrison's High Potency 🐦 Fine Bird Food - 1lb by Victoria Smith

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I've been trying to switch to this for 3 months with no success

UPDATE: I'm struggling to get him to eat this but he's actively choosing that they eat the more colorful Zupreem fruit mix (I've tried (only to give him Harrison, but he doesn't touch them and just waits without eating until he gets his chop or zuprem.) Since he eats them anyway if I hand-feed them, I don't think it's the taste is, but rather the lack of color - we all know how they can be with flowers. I'm trying to figure out how to color them (maybe with beetroot juice?) to pique his interest. I bought coarse pellets but they are really *huge* compared to these and too dense for his little legs to hold. while nibbling on it like he does with fruits and nuts. I've successfully gotten him to eat them baked in a "chopped casserole" made of shredded veggies and whole grains, so I'll probably continue to use this (although I don't know how much nutritional value is lost during the baking process, I think so is better than not eating them at all.) ----------------Bird pellets are one of those things where it's difficult to determine the quality. Everyone says they're the best and they're expensive, so that's how they have to be? My green kennel ate a few bites at first (thinking it was a treat) but I'm having trouble swapping it out whole so I'll have to mix it with his old kibble for a while. I know they should be healthier but I waited until a full month had passed since he adopted him so there weren't too many changes at once. so tiny? But my friend was used to pellets so I think part of the time he doesn't realize it's his new food because they're so much smaller. He often has this reaction to things the size of a seed as he is more used to picking up the pellets with his foot and dunking them in water before biting and repeating. So if I can't get him to use them, I can mix them into his chop in the morning and get a bag of roughage to use for regular pellets (and hope they're not *too* big).
