Return my money! Disgusting product and poor quality.

I have been a fan of Logitech for over a decade, but today it is with sadness in my heart that I write this review, which I hope will dissuade many new buyers from buying this model, and possibly mice from this company. I myself also bought a mouse from another company for the first time today and am incredibly pleased with it.

Pros
  • Holds a charge for a very long time. With good batteries, it lasts so long (at least a year) that you even forget that this mouse is wireless.
Cons
  • In recent years, the quality of Logitech mice has fallen below the plinth, and especially with this mouse model. I have owned mice of this model for almost ten years. I always bought the M705 mouse to replace the old one when it broke down due to falls somewhere. If friends asked what kind of mouse they should buy, then I always advised them only this model. Even today I have a bunch of old mice lying around. And if earlier this mouse was the standard, then over the past three years it has become a complete disappointment: Firstly, the build quality has become simply terrible. Over the past three years, I have bought five M705 mice for myself and my relatives in different stores and literally everyone started double-clicking a year later (give or take). Moreover, I read the latest reviews on other models of this company, and realized that this problem began to appear in almost all Logitech assortment. Secondly, earlier in this model there was a large rubberized button under the thumb. It could be assigned, for example, a double click or another action. It was incredibly comfortable and one of the reasons why I loved this mouse so much. But in the latest revisions, Logitech just silently redesigned the mouse, removing this button, without changing the model name and without warning anyone. It's just that for many years there was a mouse with an additional button, and one day, having bought the same one, I found that the button is no more and never will be. However, the price has not changed. Cost reduction in person. Thirdly, the terrible quality of the rubberized surface under the thumb, which is quickly erased to the point where a hole appears, because of which you can even rub your finger.
