Review on Yokohama Parada Spec-X 225/65 R17 102H summer by Wiktor Kowalczyk ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The product is the most common, it could be worse.

Those reviews convinced me to buy this tire. I guess I acted too quickly. For me, finding tires that are resistant to rutting and aquaplaning was a top priority. Kolleyness-wise, the tire checked in at 5+, despite the fact that I have it mounted at 275x40x20. Good grip on the road. I took a nighttime trip across Hong Kong, during which it poured steadily for the latter portion of the journey. Above 80 mph, hydroplaning becomes a noticeable phenomenon. Reviews on this site claim that it successfully mitigates this effect, however my own experience proves otherwise. I neglected to take into account noise levels because. It was assumed that after installing winter studded tires, the Mercedes ML350 would be as silent as a church mouse. but unfortunately, the tire is pretty noisy. Much more obnoxious than my spiky Gislaved! Additionally, the roll-out has worsened, leading to increased gas consumption; nevertheless, this is attributable to the extremely wide tread. I conclude that I will most likely switch to a different brand of tires with the same diameter (20 inches), a higher tread height (45 inches), a narrower tread width (265 inches to 255 inches), and more accurate aquaplane warning indicators. Take it if the compilation is the single most essential consideration for you. In this respect, she excels.

Pros
  • Break out of your rut
Cons
  • Extremely loud and powerful hydroplaning.
