Disappointed with Performance of Industrial Power Tool

Despite our team's excitement to use this product for our industrial needs, it fell short of our expectations. Using this product, our team found that the accuracy of the drilling was inconsistent, and the magnetic base provided poor stability. While we appreciated the 2-speed feature, it did not make up for the overall poor performance of the tool. As loyal customers in the Industrial and Scientific field, we cannot recommend this product.

Pros
  • 2-speed feature
Cons
  • Inconsistent drilling, poor magnetic base stability

Trash - do not buy

I bought this magnetic drill specifically for the chuck adapter with a regular wrench. With a hand drill I'd be just as stable and probably do less damage. The racquet wobbled and hooked instantly, snapping off two cutting edges and one of which flew into the air, causing more wobble and imbalance before I could knock it out. The damaged bat was unused and cost about $120. The damage to work is about a few hundred dollars if I fix it myself not counting the work. For a brand name drill bit…

Pros
  • Magnetic coolant bottle can be placed on either side of the tool or on the work surface

The best magnetic drill in this price range.

Absolutely great tool. Tons of power, bars are good and tidy, all parts fit. I have used a number of other magnetic drills. Most recently Evolution and Jancy Slugger. This is the best tool today. For those who complain about wobbling in the quick release, it either doesn't fit well, or it has damaged/worn bits, or they just don't know what the tool is for. The new core bits I bought are perfect for quick loosening and have very little runout. This is NOT a drill or milling machine. A runout of…

Pros
  • Electronic overload protection to avoid engine damage
Cons
  • Long delivery time
