Just as I ordered. - my new review

Red amp aluminum hammer was exactly as described. Delivered as promised. Anticipating it will work as needed. Haven’t had a chance to take it out due to the RONA but looking forward to using it. Seems solid. Will update if necessary.

Pros
  • Perfect for first-time campers and experienced adventurers alike
Cons
  • The hook may be too sharp and pose a safety hazard

Lighter but effective

THis hammer was smaller and lighter than I expected. I was worried that it wouldn't drive stakes into the ground well. That wasn't the case at all. The effective design made the stake driving easy and the lighter weight made transport a lot less concerning.Car camping = must havebackpacking = worth the weight

Pros
  • Portable design allows for easy storage in a backpack or vehicle
Cons
  • The red/orange/black/blue color options may attract unwanted attention from wildlife

Lightweight & Practical

We took this hammer on a trip to Havasupai. It was pretty light which was essential when you're backpacking. The hammer is sturdy and it's great when removing stakes from hard ground. I'd definitely recommend this if you're in need of a hammer for camping/backpacking.

Pros
  • Tents & Shelters
Cons
  • The handle may be uncomfortable to hold for long periods of time

Good all around camp tool

This is a well-made camp tool. It is lightweight but still able to drive in stakes with ease. We didn't use it to do any digging so I can't comment on that feature. It got tossed around a lot at camp by the kids and didn't show any signs of breaking.

Pros
  • The hammer worked great for putting the stakes in and the hook on the end pulled the stakes out easily.
Cons
  • The handle may be too short for people with larger hands

Perfect for backpacking

We used this on our backpacking trip. Perfect for digging/breaking up hard compact ground, for hammering tent stakes, pulling out stakes with hook, and attaching to backpack with hole on top.

Pros
  • Affordable price point makes it accessible to a wide range of customers
Cons
  • The hook may be difficult to maneuver in tight spaces

Good for hammering stakes and digging small trenches as well as using as a weapon to scare off predators. That's my review.

Pros
  • Hook feature allows for easy removal of tent stakes
Cons
  • The hammer may be too small to use with heavy-duty tent stakes

Solid backpackers' tool but not especially lightweight

Overall I am very happy with this product and I recommend buying one. We used it quite a bit on a 3-day backpacking trip and it worked well. The digging blade is a nice feature and it worked well enough to dig a small fire pit and also a few cat holes. You can swing it down into the ground and use it to cut small roots as you dig as well. The hook on the opposite end is great for pulling tent stakes. The tool is solidly built and is a bit on the heavy side, but I expect it to last for a long…

Pros
  • very good , light weight and Sturdy
Cons
  • The hook may be too small to hang larger items

Works great! in my review

This thing is great. It's light, but has enough weight in the hammer head to help drive tent stakes into the ground. Better still, it is just about perfect to pull stakes back out when it is time to pack up.I wish the handle was a little more ergonomic, though. Still works great as-is, but I'll probably wrap some para cord or something around it just to provide a little more grip.Overall, 5/5 Stars.

Pros
  • Great grammar but small head can give you a bit of heart time
Cons
  • Light weight soft hammer head, the head dents with each blow

Great Addition to the Camping Supplies

I hesitate to give this Five stars after one use, but it's hard not to. This hammer is light weight, but has no trouble pounding in the stakes for my canopy. I was impressed with the tool, but disappointed with how long it took me to get a clue and buy one! Finally, I can stop searching for rocks and using my foot to drive stakes in!

Pros
  • Smooth surface prevents rust and corrosion, ensuring longevity of the hammer
Cons
  • The hook may not be long enough to hang items from high branches

Does what it is supposed to do.

I set up a tent and took it down with this hammer and it worked great. It is lighter than the one I previously packed. The handle is a bit longer so the force delivered to the stake seemed to be more than the heavier older hammer. My old hammer did not have the hook to pull up stakes. That hook worked great on the three different stake types I used. The longest stakes took some force to drive in and pull out. The strap made it really easy to pull it with one hand while the hammer was in the…

Pros
  • Good hammer-sturdy and does what it’s supposed to-would reccomend to anyone
Cons
  • The hammer may not be effective for driving in stakes in hard ground
