This did not come in a box to make it easy for giving as a gift. It has streaks through the thin hearts that is almost an orange color but is only on one side so at least the other side can be used. You have to snap out the hearts which cause some to have splinters. It did not come with circles as it shows in the picture. The writing is beautiful though.

Loved this calendar. I have always wanted one.I actually bought 6 one for myself, and 5 for my sisters and sister in law’s.My sisters love them. We are a huge family of 6 children, spouses, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, a great-great niece, total at end of this year will be 71. That’s immediate family. Birthday gift for my grandma, used to keep track of her 15 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren birthdays, anniversaries, and other special occasions. Connection rings are a bit tricky.

I super love it. The only problem I have is that the rings are not big enough to hook the heart shapes directly to the top frame. The lumps on the heart make it not reach. The hearts hook to each other just fine. The hearts hook to the circles just fine. They just don't hook well to the top frame. I used 2 rings to make up the difference, but then the hearts turn sideways, so I'm still looking for a better solution. Great for the price.

It’s a sturdy board but March isn’t even written and February doesn’t have a hole drilled in it. Other than that though, it’s a nice cute board.

Quality was just "ok”. The wood is splintered in one area and one word was not complete (see photo). Had purchased as a gift and didn’t want to give due to flaws. Waste of money, I guess.

This is an excellent way to remember the birthday's of those we love. Assembling was slightly awkward due to the tiny rings and holes, but doable. I tried using colored sharpies but they bled on the wood. The wood is too porous. You have to use a pen. Colored ink works well but not as pretty as a colored sharpie would.

I hated the very small rings you use to put it together. Plenty of extra pieces for the future. I can’t even get my fingers to open the rings. What a terrible gift

In a review, someone suggested using decoupage as a coating first before writing on the hearts and circles to help prevent the ink from bleeding and I think that was the best advice. Yes, the letters started to run and after I did this, it was perfect.The shapes come in a sheet of wood to punch out. The actual board is thin so it feels cheap, however, it looks great. I bought this as a Christmas gift for my mother in law and after receiving it, decided I'll buy one for myself as well.
